Steelhead 144 Mercedes Sprinter Camper Van

The Steelhead is a compact yet highly functional 144-wheelbase camper van layout designed for travelers who want comfortable living space without giving up access to their gear. The layout combines a fixed queen bed, driver's-side galley, bench seating, overhead storage and a dedicated rear gear area.

Interior Layout

The Steelhead makes efficient use of the 144 Sprinter platform, creating a comfortable camping interior while maintaining practical space for bikes, outdoor equipment and other adventure gear.

Kitchen & Living Space

Open plan living space with side door cubby seat with toilet and removable table. A driver side galley with an 85-litre refrigerator, sink with onboard removable water tanks, induction cooktop and additional storage

Sleeping & Storage

The fixed 60-inch-wide bed with sleeping bump outs which provides a dedicated sleeping area while the rear cargo and gear storage keeps equipment organized.

Electrical & Heating

The base configuration includes lithium battery power, Victron monitoring, solar charging, DC-to-DC charging, 120V charging and a 2,000-watt inverter. A Webasto Air Top heater and winter insulation package provide four-season capability.
